Thankfully, we know that pretty much everyone here will be on board with this. Our hobby is constantly under attack from extremist groups and campaigners, who are well intended, and do have some valid arguments. For instance, many wild caught reptiles will die in transit, they can be poorly packaged and arrive dessicated and at the point of death from thirst.
These are typical brown boxer scenarios, where they collect en-masse, and destroy habitats in the name of digging out as many specimens as possible. Taxes and import fees are avoided – fraud is committed and there can be no room for this in our community.
Brown boxing is hard to manage, but we are relying on you as the My Bugbook community to help us keep it out of here. We already have some volunteers on board, and as our commuinity grows, it would be a great thing to turn these volunteer positions into paid jobs, but we cannot do that without your support.
We are curerntly working with a number of top traders and respected importers to produce a list of species and countries where their export has been banned, that will be prohibited from sale on this platform.
